View Full Version : Ebay Feedback did not work for 3 weeks

Hello,

All of our Ebay My.ShipRush webstores have stopped leaving automatic feedback for buyers as of June 18th-20th. I am not aware of anything we might have done to cause an issue, as we only have to change an Ebay setting about once a year. It is usually problem free, unlike Amazon.


Is there anything I can do to try and jumpstart the process, or log files I can submit?

We already have the logging in My.ShipRush. I have asked development to review the issue, Case 32002

Please let me know tomorrow if there are shipments that did not post back the feedback to eBay. We've enabled extended logging to capture more detail on the postback to eBay.

None of our eBay stores had successful feedback posting today.

Are you using turbolister, or some other tool that is posting feedback to eBay?

Remember that a listing can only have its feedback "touched" once. If something else is touching the feedback, MyShipRush can't then touch it.

We only have and continue to use some form of ShipRush to post feedback. It always worked through OrderManager using the eBay webstore; once we converted to My.ShipRush Webstore the problem started to occur.


I still had the ebay webstores in OrderManager, though I did delete them all using https://my.shiprush.com/webstore.aspx

This was fixed by development over the weekend. It appears that the fix was updated to My.ShipRush and it is working once again.

We are having an issue with feedback still that I had in my last post, but I am re-posting with updated info now that the other issue was fixed.

I attempt to set our desired feedback message to:
5 STAR BUYER! Thank you for your business, Please come back anytime!
This is the feedback message we have been using for 2-3 years and worked in OrderManager. As visible in the above image, after clicking save and returning to the webstore I see that the feedback response has been truncated.
I was wondering if the truncated message was simply a cosmetic flaw with the website, but it appears to not be the case as this is what our feedback page looks like:

Is there any way to increase the field size for feedback in the database to be 1:1 with OrderManager?

I've asked development to review and see if we can make the feedback content longer via My.ShipRush. Case 32083

In the meantime, please shorten your feedback so it doesn't appear cut off until this issue is resolved.

The issue with the truncated feedback has been fixed. You can increase your feedback back to "5 STAR BUYER! Thank you for your business, Please come back anytime!"
