When we select a 1lb item via UPS. UPS now started billing us on the dimentions of the item instead of the lbs. When we call UPS they say to contact our software tech. We needed to remove the size of the the item because it is not true. We are not sending boxes. We are sending UPS PAK's.

Are you selecting UPS Pak as the Packaging type in ShipRush?

Is this Air shipments?

We do not have any choice for "PAK." We can only chose 1lb box, 2lb box, and or 3lb box for UPS 2nd day air. I do not use this system. I just do the accounts payable, so if you can point me in the right direction that would be great. How can we adjust the system to have pak and fix all pak that went out as boxes.

To fix the pak issues that went out, you will need to contact UPS. We cannot assist in that matter.

What build of ShipRush is this (Helpl | About)?
What shipment type (ground, air, air service type)?

We are not sending boxes. We are sending UPS PAK's.

Gotta love UPS! If you send a UPS pak, dim weight does not apply, but if you send your own box of the EXACT same dimensions, dim weight DOES apply!

Anyway, that is life.

So as a solution to deal with this situation, you can contact UPS customer service, and they will adjust your invoice. That should get everything in arrears covered.

Going forward, the solution is to specify the packaging in the shipment.

If you are using ShipRush for UPS, use the packaging selector.

If you are using ShipRush Server, you will need to create a UPS shipping template that has the PAK packaging type selected in it.

Okay, our # is:7.0.0.697
This was never an issue until UPS did an audit, so we never knew that this was an incorrect way to send paks.

Ahh,
So you are using OmniRush to create the packages, not the ShipRush GUI (actual ShipRush program).

To resolve:
- On a machine that you have ShipRush installed on (like the OmniRush Server), launch ShipRush UPS v3
- Bring up an airbill and set your items as you wish (weight, shipment type, package type)
- Click on More | Save (on the right hand side)
- Browse out to the location that you have your templates, or save to your local computer
- Give it a name of (this is an example): "Air_2Day_Pak.fru"

Now you can schedule that new template, or you may need to import into OR Admin, depending on your environment (using external files, or those imported in ODMS in OR Admin).
