Will shiprush work with aceshop? It is a modified version of open cart made to work with joomla.

That is an unknown. If the core of the OpenCart files weren't modified, it might.

We have not looked directly at aceshop, but we expect our opencart integration would work.

It only takes a few minutes to try it out and see.

How do I check to see if the core files are modified?

If I install it will there be any issues If it doesn't work with it?

Install it as OpenCart. You don't need to check the core files. The installation takes about 10 minutes and you'll know if it works or not.

No issues if it is unable to talk to the modified version for Joomla.

So i installed the program on my computer but there was no option for installing on opencart. Is there something else I need to do with this?

If you downloaded the "plain" ShipRush, (e.g. not the ecommerce flavor), it probably prompts you for a serial no, right?

If so, use this one: 2SRCW-992HI-5HK43-HQSEV-P3M59-HZZZZ-ZZZZZ-26Q1Z-ZZ

(it is from this web page: http://fedex.shiprush.com/opencart/opencart_faq.shtml )

Apparently there are things that have to be changed that I have no experience in. Is there a service that you guys offer that would help me?

Can you clarify what would need to be modified to work with Aceshop? We might be able to point you in the right direction.

Ive tried to use your automated install with no luck. I tried following the read me but have had no luck.

Give a call into our Customer Support Group at 206.812.7874. The automated method may not work as that is looking for OpenCart, not Aceshop, so it could very well fail to "see" an OpenCart installation.

Thank you,

I would love to call in however I am at work and calling really isnt much of an option for me right now.

This is the error I am getting:
The webstore URL is incorrect or webstore is not configured properly. Please verify this is the correct URL. ERROR: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en-gb" lang="en-gb" > <head> <base href="https://petpinion.com/" /> <me...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

It looks like you tried to set this up as a Custom webstore. Try to setup as an OpenCart webstore, since Aceshop is based on that cart type.

Steps to try this:
Delete the webstore that you have setup in My.ShipRush.com and in ShipRush Order Manager
Modify ShippingZSettings.php on this line: define("SHIPPING_ACCESS_TOKEN" and define your token (if you haven't done so already)
Now, upload the following files to the root if your webstore:
ShippingZSettings.php
ShippingZClasses.php
ShippingZOpenCart.php
ShippingZOpencartBootstrap.php
ShippingZMessages.php

Now go out to My.ShipRush.com | Webstores | Create new Webstore
Setup as OpenCart

If that works, now you can go into ShipRush Order Manager
Add new store
Connect to Existing webstore
Select the OpenCart webstore created above

I am still getting this error

The webstore URL is incorrect or webstore is not configured properly. Please verify this is the correct URL. ERROR: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en-gb" lang="en-gb" > <head> <base href="https://petpinion.com/" /> <me...

Am i supposed to be pointing to the main page of the site or the main page of the opencart install? I am pointing to the opencart install because that makes more sense. Please let me know if I am wrong.

It would appear that our standard OpenCart php kit isn't going to work in the Aceshop environment. Possibly enough has been modified in the core of OpenCart to cause our php calls to fail, as you're seeing here.

Typically, you would point to and install the php files into the root of the webstore, where index.php resides for the store itself. Since this is a component of Joomla, we wouldn't know the exact details of how the Aceshop database is created, housed, or named.

Would you be able to point me in the right direction on where I should look? Assuming the ace shop structure is the same with different text..

Sorry, we're not familiar with Aceshop and do not know what might be different from the standard OpenCart installation.
