We've noticed that the Live API has a limit on how many calls can be made per minute (this limit isn't imposed on the Sandbox).
Is there a way to increase the amount of calls / minute?
Also is this limitation per customer / token or per client session?

The limit is per token and yes, we do have a default to keep from having the production system swamped with calls. Do you have a guess-timate of how many calls per minute you're looking for or needing?

What is the default limit? We currently watch for the error and wait for it to go away before continuing. Ideally we would like to be able to at least process 1 call per second (60 / minute), with more always being better.

Are these mostly rating calls, or shipment calls? We would need to know more about the usage.

It's typically both. we import addresses from order files and verify the addresses. Then when ready we process those orders for shipping.

Thank you for the update. I have opened Case 63897 for development to have an internal review for an increase on the API limit.
