We are having an issue with not being able to produce shipping labels for addresses marked as Inactive even though they are valid addresses.
The address validation doesn't flag these but when trying to generate the label it gets rejected.
How can we bypass this condition so we can still generate labels and ship to these addresses?

Inactive , can you show us a screen shot that helps us see what you see?

Have you tried turning off the Address Verification feature in Settings?

Using another address verification system, it shows that this is a valid address but it isn't active. ShipRush with our current settings rejects these as bad addresses currently.

Forgive me, but I've never heard of a physical address being inactive. Does that mean that it doesn't receive shipping?

From what I've found in research, it's flagged either when a location is new and no one has moved in yet, the owner has moved, or mail is being held. We are seeing this issue mainly with customers that reside inside malls for example.

I am not sure how we can bypass if an address is flagged this way. Are these postal shipments?

It varies between USPS and UPS.

Please email a couple example addresses to support at shiprush dot com. We will need to review this and ask the carriers about the ability to bypass this kind of address.
