View Full Version : Problems integrating with peachtree

So, I downloaded and installed ShipRush for peachtree, and have configured it with our fedex account, the works. Everthing seems properly configured, but when I open an invoice and fill out some basic order stuff, then double-click the ShipRush icon, a message pops up saying "Unable to read customer/vendor information from Peachtree. Empty response for ID 'XXXXX'" where XXXXX is the customer ID that I've opened. So it knows what customer is active, but it refuses to open an actual shipping dialogue.

Any ideas?

Ouch. This is not an issue we have seen before, so I do not have a stock answer for you.

Please follow those steps. If you receive the error with those steps it will require a call into Z-Firm tech support.

If these steps work, but your steps do not, please detail for us how your steps differ so we can figure out what is up.

Have these solutions helped you? We are having the same problem, with peachtree 2005. we have attempted both of the links provided however, in the users section we cannot find a section to add rights for linking to other programs, and for the second link regarding datapath, when we change this it does not allow us to open peachtree. Please let me know if you were able to find a solution. Any help would be appreciated.

As discussed on the phone:

Changing the ini file causes Peachtree to no longer function, leading us to believe that the issue is the network location for the Peachtree data. You need to be able to set that path in the ini file and still have Peachtree function correctly.

Once you're able to set that path and Peachtree functions, ShipRush should also function.

I am a neew person and we use Peachtree. we are getting an error message whenwe open up Shiprush infront of our invoice. It will not currently open and grab the information. We get a box with Error:List index out of bounds(-). vpBoldLiteEd:t17.TypEdit.Followercontroller. The day beofre this ahppened, I noticed an error in the phone no. on the return address of the shipping label, so my administrator went in and corrected the phone no. Nothing else was changed. The next day ship rush would not open. HELP!!

I would go into the Settings for ShipRush and verify that the data entered there is correct. I would also reboot the PC and launch PT then ShipRush and try to process shipment again.

If you have this error in ShipRush, first reboot the PC.

If the error persists, the ShipRush database may be damaged. You can delete the database and it will be recreated.
