We have a 5 user license and currently have two devices accessing a single shared database. Based on some recent networking problems, we think having two databases would allow us to continue work on one device in the event of a networking problem.

What steps are needed to establish two databases? We will be using two PC attached thermal printers. This will mean that we need to set up both PCs as single use. As noted they are now sharing a single database on drive H.

If this belongs in the 'How Do I' forum, feel free to send it there.

Thanks.

You can do the following (to keep any current data):
Close ShipRush on each PC
Copy the database.v4 folder from H: to local folders on each PC (like documents and settings\application data\z-firm llc\shiprush v4)
Launch ShipRush on each PC
Go into Settings | Shipping settings | Advanced | Connection Settings
Change the connect via network share path to the new locations local to each PC
