ShipRush will not start. Splash screen loads and displays "connecting" but goes no further. During this period all system CPU resources are used. From other posts I learned to make sure the ShipRush services are started and it is.

ENVIRONMENT: This is a new PC (1 month old) running XP and ShipRush Pro. QuickBooks 2004 Pro multi user, company file located across network on Win2000 PC.

Thanks for the help.

Browse out to documents and settings\username\application data\z-firm llc\shiprush v3 and locate a file called shiprush3.log. That may indicate what the issue is. Post back with the last 15 to 20 lines from that log file.

What is the PC name of the PC running the Z-Firm ShipRush v3 Service? I see that you tried HE-8-US and WAREHOUSE.

You verified that the ShipRush v3 Service is running? If so, something is causing a possible block of communication.

Something you could try:
http://www.zfirm.com/Product_Documentation/ShipRush_v3_Pro_Edition/Direct_Database_Connection.htm

Follow the steps to switch to an ADO connection method.

Still no luck, however, I realized that the PC running ShipRush also runs NetNanny. When NetNanny is deactivated, all is well. Can you tell me which domains require access for ShipRush to function. I can then make allowences for these domains.

Thanks!

NetNanny.

Well, it's trying to connect to UPS.com. Is there a way in NetNanny to set an application access, and not where it's going to? That way you can set the actual exe file shiprushserver.exe.

I know it can be set in other programs like Norton.
