View Full Version : Remove &3, &4 and &5 on printed Quickbooks form

I've added the &3, &4 and &5 indicators to my custom sales receipt form in Quickbooks 2003 Pro to get ShipRush to read the billing and shipping information from this form. However, when I print the sales receipt for my customers the "3", "4" and "5" print on the form after the respective fields. For example, on the printout it prints "Ship To: 4"

How do I remove these so they do not actually print on the sales receipt.

Thank you

The "trick" to doing this would be to edit the template in QB.

For the &5, add as many spaces as possible between Invoice # and &5, like:
Invoice # &5
This will force it off the printable area.

When dealing with the &3 and &4, you will need to add the spaces as well as go in the Layout Designer in QB and make the box smaller for the Bill To and Ship To so the &3 and &4 are off the right of the print box. This will leave two small dots in the printed area.

I've had other users also turn the text white for the Bill To and Ship To fields in QB and then created their own Text boxes and laid those over the top of where the Bill To and Ship To would be on the invoice in Layout Designer.
