I see the problem and am reporting to development to look at.

You may be able to "downgrade" if you have the old installer of the software available. Another option as this time would be to change to the option to set to an external SMTP server instead of the built in SMTP in the program. To do this:
Right click the ShipRush icon | Setting | General
Next to the From Address - click the More button
Set to External SMTP and enter in the required information

Can I download an older version? I cant seem to find the old version. Also does it matter what SMTP sever I use? Does it have to be for the email I use to sent the notification?

I don't have an older version available for download.

Does it matter? It may not. Just as long as the SMTP information is valid it may work.

It will not let me enter user name and password for the SMTP server that I enter! What is causeing this? Do you know of anyone who has an earlier version. I think the build was .234

Entering in your username\password should just require you to check Use Authentication. Many SMTP do not require username\password for outbound, but yours might.

You may need to set that.

What domains are you having issues with?

I will need to pass along to development if there are specifics available.

Thank you,

If this is related to a problematic DNS issue:

Please tell me what the output of your system is when you do an nslookup on the problem domains.

From a command prompt:

nslookup -q=MX cox.net
(you can do this for various domains that are problematic)

Please post back with result of this test on a couple of the problematic domains.

Thanks for the detailed posts.

We see the issue you refer to. This area of ShipRush will probably not be addressed until the next major version.

Thank you again for the detail.

Does it tender an error or just not post the data to GM?

I will try and replicate that here.

There is no error display, just does not place the data in GM. That is corret!

What is causing the problem that will have to change in the next version?

Hi,
I'm not sure this is related, but I can't seem to get FedEx e-mail notifications out at all and when I switch to the ShipRush e-mail template, I'm get an error message that says: "not a valid e-mail address" for any address I enter. This is causing major headaches in customer service. Any clue?

SYSOPS

Switching to the ShipRush email may tender that error. May need to set the SMTP information in the settings (to external).

Development is working on the next release of ShipRush FedEx and one of the areas is the email notification.
