View Full Version : Adding Customer:Job as a Alt marked field

My current ecommerce software imports customer into Quickbooks with a numerical customer ID number instead of a First name / Lastname. This is actually fine with me and makes it a little easier to track down orders.

The problems comes is matching boxes with labels. Currently I manually have to type the customer ID number into the reference field. What would be GREAT would be if I could setup a alt marked field so Customer:Job is automagically imported. I read the documentation and I looked in the fields but I can't seem to find a way to do this.

Anyone have a suggestion on this?

Since the Customer: Job area is not available to modify in a template, can you setup your ecommerce software to copy the customer ID to a field in a template, like one you don't use? If so, then you can set the &5 or &6 on that field and tell ShipRush to use that for the reference line (1 or 2).

That is about the only way I know of to do this.
