I know Endicia supports the Dymo 400 so I assumed I would be able to use this with Ship Rush. I just installed the software and I only see Laser and Zebra printers.

Any suggestions?

We do not support the Dymo printer. The options you listed are the only printers currently supported.

That is a bummer... i already have the Dymo so I guess I'll just use stamps.com :(

Any plans to add it in the future? Especially since that is what Endicia sells with their service....

Will pass along to development as a suggestion. I have not heard of any plans myself.

Sorry, the Dymo 400 is not on the current radar for support.

What we usually advise is a process to this effect:

a) Figure out if ShipRush will save you time
b) Try to put a value on that time
c) If there is enough value, purchase the software and hardware to make it happen.

So if ShipRush can save you 2 hours a week, and that is worth $15 or $20 per hour, that is $30-40 per week saved, or $120-160 per month.

At that rate, it should be worth spending 2 or 3 months worth of savings, as the end of month 4 you will be in the black. So spending $240-$480 is appropriate is justified, again on a 3 month payback scheme. (Most business decisions have a longer payback cycle.)

If ShipRush is not going to save you time, we would be the first folks to suggest that it might not be right for you.

We are working on this in v6, but will only support letter labels (standard first class postage) with the 3 part Label, part # 30383 for the Dymo printer.

The next release of v6 should have this available.

Funny, in another thread "SYSOPS " wrote us that the dymo printers are not good printers and that's because they do not support it. here I find this comment.

Dear 2009id,
Let's all get on the same page. We supported the Dymo LabelWriter 400 with a specific labelstock in Endicia, for FIRST CLASS LETTER POST ONLY. Never, ever, did we say we supported the Dymo 4XL which is what you've been talking about these last 2 days.

I also did not state that Dymo printer are not good. Please get your facts straight when you post.

Thank you,
SYSOPS
