Please advise if there is a simple way to archive shipping details that are, say, over 2 months old? Right now, when we refresh ShipRush it takes a long time to download current orders. Please advise as we are looking for a way to speed up the process. We ship about 150 items a day through ShipRush for USPS so we have a lot of historical data.

Sad to say, there is no way of doing this.

From what I understand you are interested in doing this in the order manager itself, right?

The only way to do this is to rename the Order Manager DB folder, and let ShipRush create a new, empty, DB. It will then import recent sales from eBay. It will see those sales as 'shipped' because that flag will come down from eBay, but the shipment detail will only be in the View Shipment list in ShipRush, not in Order Manager itself (not too bad, perhaps, since it is searchable by the reference which usually has the eBay ID).

Now... the better news:

The upcoming ShipRush v5.7 has two important improvements in this area:

1) Better performance in Order Manager. We did a bit of tuning here.

2) A purge feature, so you can delete out older data.

We are getting really close to a beta of 5.7, but aren't there yet.

A question of clarification....

a) Has the actual process of downloading 150 orders slowed down ?

or

b) The time to download has been constant, but you would like it to be faster?

thanks!
