Would someone please verify that ShipRush (without Endica) will not work with the Zebra LP2844 printer. I only have the 'laser' printer type available when configuring a printer. Thanks.

In 5.0, you are correct.

In the coming 5.7 ShipRush USPS supports the Zebra 2844 printer. See the Beta announcement at the top of this forum if you would like to participate in the beta.

We run ShipRush Endicia, FedEx and UPS with ShipRush version : 5.0.0.2215 . I am not sure why but we do have a selection for the lp2844 and it has been working for some time. Perhaps more than one version has to be installed or there is some trick but we have been happy with it and are also using the beta on a backup shipping machine.

Yes, ShipRush for Endicia has had LP2844 support for some time. However LP2844 support is not yet available in ShipRush USPS.

LP2844 support will be available in v5.7 of ShipRush USPS.

i'm not sure which Zebra printer we have but it works great. My question relates to the labels themselves. We are using labels with a stub from FedEx. When we print postage, the postage stamp is printed partially on the stub. Is it possible to flip the postage label so that the stub portion is blank?

In settings | shipping settings | printers you should have an option to reverse printing on the right hand side. That should flip the label and give you what you need.
