Is there a way to import what type of shipping service the buyer pays for from ebay/paypal? i.e. first class, priority, media.

mine defaults to 1st class, but would prefer to import it.

At this time ShipRush does not pull Shipping Service Type. I will pass along to development to see if that is something we can obtain from the database in eBay or PayPal.

Thank you,

Hello. Since this question is over a year old I thought I would check and see if this issue been addressed. I do not see the options in the settings, just a default to choose shipping service type. Does it now pull it from eBay the service type that the customer paid for without having to look at each individual transaction before printing a label? (IE: priority, media, 1st class... etc?). Also, can it auto pull insurance if paid for by the buyer? Thanks.

In the Order Manager go into settings | ship method and you can map your custom shipping method with a ShipRush method.

I do not see an option to set the insurance.

Hello. I had already mapped them (Media Mail = USPS Media Mail and so on). But it's not pulling it over. For example, I just printed a label that the customer paid for media mail shipping but it defaulted 1st class. So at this point (unless I have done something wrong that you can fix, which is entirely possible) I have to refer to each individual sale before I can print a label. I already have to do that anyway to see if they bought insurance. That just takes up a lot of time and kinda cuts down on the benefit of the program. Thanks.

What version of ShipRush are you using? Help | About will give you that information.

I am testing with our soon to be released update for v6 and it maps the service being passed from eBay to what I selected in the settings (Media Mail).

ShipRush version : 6.2.0.3129.

Just downloaded it Monday. I am having a new Dell installed tomorrow, so I will end up with a new download again.

I am unable to replicate this issue using the same build (on a different machine). Are you doing single shipments or bulk shipping?

I would also check it the mapping for typos.

OK. I'll give everything a closer look and since I have to leave now, I'll report back tomorrow. Thank you for your help.

Good morning. Well, I installed shiprush on the new computer and fine tuned the settings. After playing with it for the past two days I still have not been able to get the shipping service that was paid for to pull over from eBay.

To use first class mail as an example, I've labeled it first class, first class mail, USPS first class mail and USPS first class. I have used all 4 variations on media mail, priority mail and express mail as well. No luck. It still defaults to media mail, which is my default setting since it makes me choose one.

To answer your questions, I am doing single shipments and the spelling is correct. I have enclosed a couple of pics of screen shots for you. Thanks.

Could you also provide a screenshot of one of your items from Order Manager?

Open the item, go to the More Tab. There you will see the Ship Method Requested. If you could provide a screenshot of that it would be helpful.

Thank you,
