View Full Version : Unable to connect to SR Server

All remove work stations (5 total) are unable to connect to the Ship Rush Server.

Ship Rush Server is unable to start Ship Rush itself. Checked the "Systems" on the server and the "Systems" are started/running. From http://www.zfirms.com/knowledge_bases/shiprush/sr3p-0003.txt

Also referenced "Configuring the Windows Firewall", however our server is a true Server and the local area connection does not have an Advanced Tab.

Have not installed Windows SP2 on any computers.


When trying to start Ship Rush on any computer (including Server), Ship Rush displays in upper right hand corner "Connecting...", then freezes.

Please help!

Ok, I finally did get an error message:

Unable To Connect to ShipRuch Server: The operation timed out - URL: http://SERVER1:1123/SOAP/IBoldSynapse - SOAPAction:URN:BoldSynapseInterface-IBoldSynapse#SignOn


UPS arrives in 58 minutes... HELP.

That would tell us that the port is already in use. The port we use is 1123.

You might be able to reboot the ShipRush Server PC to release the port so that ShipRush may use it, or you'll need to re-configure everything in ShipRush to use a different port.

Please post back if the reboot does not resolve, so I can provide detailed steps on changing the port settings in ShipRush.

Ok, restarted Server.

Much quicker in loading ShipRush and giving error message (within 30 seconds not 10 minutes), however still receive the same error message in last post.

What's next?
