View Full Version : Ship To Address Picking Up Wrong

We are having a problem with the way ShipRush picks up the Ship To addresses from Quickbooks Enterprise invoices. Most of the time this function works correctly, but from time to time we rec eive a pop-up box that asked us to select a Shipping or Billing address. Based on our selection QuickRush then takes the information from our Quickbooks database rather than from the invoice Ship To, which is different most of the time.

Also, many times the company name ends up in the Name field and sometimes the Name ends up in the Address 1 fioeld and the address is left off altogether. :(

The joy of data in QuickBooks which may be different from how another user will enter the same data. As you stated, it works most of the time, but sometimes it will run into data that it cannot interpret, and will either ask you for assistance, or will put it in the wrong field. Do you see a pattern when the problem arises? One contact that works correctly vs another record that doesn't.

If you wish to limit the data that ShipRush can read (only from the invoice Ship To\Bill To windows) and doesn't also add anything from the Customer Job List, you may want to change the communication method in ShipRush to QuickBooks Basic (settings | program settings | cm settings).

This will limit ShipRush to only the invoice with the &3 and &4 added. Nothing will be pulled from the Customer Job List. Drawbacks? No phone or email will be pulled from the Job List either. You can add a phone # or email address the 5th line of the address, but only one or the other.
