Did Endicia just change the format of priority mail international labels? I just printed one and it came out of my standard printer in a condensed format about half the size of what it used to be. Maybe this is so it can be printer with a thermal printer? I haven't tried that yet, but I'm not sure if ShipRush currently supports printing priority international to a thermal printer. Does anyone at SR have any news on the label format change and/or plans to enable thermal printing in SR? Thanks.

Addendum: I just chatted with an Endicia rep who claimed to know nothing about a change in the priority mail label.

Can you please give us more detail. What type of INTL Priority shipment was this (parcel, flat rax box or envelope)? Does your label say it's a CN22 or CP72?

Thank you,

The label was for a regular, 5-lb priority international package. It says CP72. It's not merely a shrunken version of the large label. It is a new, condensed CP72 label.

I've asked development to review the new size to make sure this spec and not an issue at Endicia. Case 28102

Thank you,

This issue is fine, it is just a new size.
No problems, just a change.

Ok, thanks for looking into it. Was that a change implemented by SR, Endicia, or USPS? Perhaps in the next SR release we can enable thermal printing since the form could now fit on a 4x6 label. With the new size, some extra cutting is involved since the label doesn't take up a full half sheet of paper. In my opinion, the ideal would either be four thermal sheets or full half-sheet labels, 2-per page like in PayPal and eBay. Thanks again.

Pure Endicia. They should not have made this change in this way.

This is stupid because the little pouches that these go in is not designed for a 4x6 label. Also, it cuts my return address off. Does it cut your's off? I have a longer city and street name, so my address is a bit wider than normal, but it still cuts it off.

These labels are useless. I just had a package returned to me that i shipped 2 days ago because it did not say "canada" on the label. I also shipped another one to singapore today without the "singapore" on there, so i'm sure it will be back as well. Very upsetting and frustrating.

This was a pure problem created by the Endicia guys. They made a change to their servers on Thursday which caused them to create this invalid label (missing the city and/or country name).

They told us the problem was solved on Friday afternoon.

To discuss further, please give ShipRush customer service a call Monday.

Endicia released an update on their system last night to deal with this problem. The CP72 labels are back to how they were before.
