View Full Version : SQL server changed IP, but can't update settings

When I start shiprush, I get the "SQL Server does not exist or access denied". This is because we moved the SQL server, but the problem is that I can't change the setting in shiprush.

When starting, I get the error, but the context menu off the system tray icon cannot be navigated while the error is up and clearing the error just brings up the same error. What is the best way to update the SQL/Direct Access settings in this case?

Exit ShipRush completely.

Browse out to c:\docs and settings\username you're logged in with\application data\z-firm llc\opencontman or
C:\Users\username you're logged in with\AppData\Roaming\Z-Firm LLC\opencontman

You can modify the xml file manually: OpenContManSettings.xml. There will be two connect strings in there (one for getting the contact info, one for updating shipping history). You can modify those two strings, or you can simply rename the .xml file and start up ShipRush and reset the entire connection param and SQL query.
