  1. Volusion News: Map shipping services from Volusion to ShipRush

    ShipRush now allows you to map your Volusion shipping services to ShipRush shipping services. So if you offer a "Standard Shipping" option, you can map that to the service you use for that option (say FedEx Ground).

    Just log in to My.ShipRush, and edit your Volusion Web Store. Select the Service Mapping Settings.

    Yesterday, I discussed the progress we have made in Volusion-land.

    Today, I am happy to say that we have it fully up and running, for large and small Volusion stores.

    We have had problems on the Volusion platform, but we are making progress making it better.

    Some of the problems are my fault. It is normally not like this at Z-Firm, but it did this time.

    What happened: In late November, we noticed that the Volusion platform had a problem and would sometimes give us a truncated (cut off) response. In XML, a truncated response is a serious problem, because it causes important code to blow up (that ...

    Update: This issue is resolved.


    Some users see their Volusion web store throw an error, or the web store may even turn off (become "disabled" in the My.ShipRush system).

    There is some news, good and bad.

    Good part: The problem often is "transient." This means the problem comes and goes. Turn your web store on ("enable" it), and press the Refresh All option. Give it 20 to 40 minutes, and see if it works. ...
