    We apologize for the misunderstanding.

The ShipRush for Stamps solution has been $29.95 from the first day ShipRush for Stamps.com existed.

    See: http://stamps.shiprush.com/

We apologize the process was messy. You should have first received an email asking you to upgrade your account to a "real" ShipRush for Stamps account. It was a mistake to just turn it off like this.

The pricing for ShipRush has always been front and center:

We apologize for the rough experience. It is not something the ShipRush team had control over.

Please call the ShipRush team. This is not a 4 hour process. We can get you set up pretty fast.

Perhaps I missed it but I don't think this has been stated. I just got off the phone with stamps.com because I was activating my new account. They said the original account that isn't working will start working on the next billing cycle (February 1st). Is that correct?

I have been on the phone since 8:00 this morning trying to get this solved.(4 hours) I have employees who we are getting paid to not work! I am so lividly angry with Ship Rush that we were not told, that if I knew another software that worked as well, I would be gone for good. My time is money and ShipRush is costing me money rather than saving us anything. I am ranting because what kind of company just shuts you down without notice? I have used Shiprush for 4 years, but don't know if we will continue or recommend.

I agree, WE are just now working on Yesterdays orders. Like you we pay a Staff to actually work here in our business.. Ship Rush is very much at fault here as we are a Ship Rush Customer. And SR Contracts out our postage to Stamps.. This Pass the blame game is silly.. SR needs to Ex plane. Intuit Recommended us to Ship Rush. Ship Rush pass us to Stamps. Why cant we have one reliable service for postage as a Quick Books customer. We will also bring this up on the Intuit Forums as Intuit QuickBooks has some Spalnen to do to as well..

The good news.. Once you wait through the Hours of On Hold with Stamps.com.. And Techs that don't know whats up you will get your postage system back up.. But if your like us it will cost you more money in your monthly fee...

That's the dirty Secret that no one wants to tell us about.. !

    Good luck.

SYSOP NOTE: The pricing below is not quite complete. Please see: http://forums.zfirm.com/showthread.p...ll=1#post45386 for the full story.

But what about the pricing for QuickBooks Customers.. We came to ShipRush 5 years ago via QuickBooks.. WE were offered $15.99 pricing because we are a QuickBooks customer.. Nowhere did that ever state that the fee would go up $10.00 at some random date. I realize that SR is just the Pass through here.. and to your credit you are helping us all get this fixed.. But frankly we need some clarity here in the pricing and when to expect it to go up.. As a Quick Books Customer. What do I expect next? When Will I be held hostage again for more monthly fees? Just tell us upfront so we can plan for it.

And thank you Sysop for you help and efforts with this.

    ( UPDATE )

I just broke though with Stamps.com and did get them to admit that the QuickBooks to ShipRush Stamps accounts are Still $15.99 So.. The real issue here is that no one really understands the priceing for the different users of SR for Stamps.. So just to be clear.. QuickBooks - ShipRush - Stamps accounts are still the $15.99..

Thank You ShipRush Sysop for all of your help. !

That sounds right, (remember that we don't have visibility into your Stamps.com account).

Any account that is on the "ShipRush" plan will work. Changing an account takes some days or weeks (until the billing cycle rolls over), so we suggest creating a new account because it is quicker.

The strategy you indicate, of using the new account temporarily until the old account has time to switch to "ShipRush" status does sound like it will work.

The above is not quite the whole story.

If you use "plain" Stamps.com, from the Stamps.com web site, it is $15.99/month.

If you use the Stamps.com shipping INSIDE QuickBooks, it is $15.99/month.

If you use ShipRush, the product you find here: http://stamps.shiprush.com/
    Then it is $29.95/month.

    I hope this clarifies!

    And now ... From Stamps.

    "Dear Shiprush for Stamps.com Customer:

An update was deployed by Stamps.com yesterday which affected customers who are using Shiprush, but who are not currently on the Shiprush for Stamps.com plan. For the past several months, customers on all Stamps.com plans had the ability to print postage through the Shiprush interface, and the update deployed yesterday was designed to encourage customers to switch to the correct Shiprush plan. (Please Note: Customers already on the Shiprush for Stamps.com plan were not affected by yesterdays deployment.)

Because the process to upgrade to Shiprush is not currently as convenient as we would like it to be, we are rolling back this deployment today, allowing customers to access their Shiprush application as before. The rollback will take place in a few hours. If you need immediate access to Shiprush USPS mailing, prior to the rollback, it is possible to add another Shiprush account through your User Settings on Shiprush, and our staff can assist you with this process at 877-782-6739 (option 1).

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this deployment, and we will be sending further communication prior to any similar action in the future. We encourage any customers who use Shiprush to upgrade to the correct Shiprush plan, and our staff will be happy to assist you with this at the number provided above (877-782-6739 (option 1)).

Thank you for being a Stamps.com customer,

Thank you for being a Stamps.com customer,
Yep, i got a laugh off that one. So instead of SR or Stamps sending out a notice before all this went down they decide to simply cut you off and deal with the angry mob. Then say oh **** this didnt work out the way we planned and spend time and money again to roll it back. I just loaded 200 in postage on the froze account about 30 minutes before it was locked out, needless to say i have started to use the old one again and have that almost burned off. I suggest all you do the same as your money is not setting in limbo and you are stuck waiting ona check. Once all my postage is burned off the old account i will call and cancel the old account. Hopefully it wont be another 2 hour adverture. Organization is the key to success And this little adventure was not organized by either party very well.
