Thread: ShipRush and Quickbooks

  1. #1
    Hi,

I use ShipRush with Quickbooks and lately when I create a shipment the company name is populating in the address box instead of in the company box. The actual address is then pushed down to the 2nd address box. I've checked all my settings and everything looks to be in order...can anyone tell me why it's doing this and how to fix it?

    Thanks!

I'd suggest going into settings | program settings | cm settings
Set the method to retrieve address info from QB to Hybrid Mode

    Restart ShipRush. Issue persist?

That is what's already chosen...it says "Use Invoice/Sales Order/Sale Receipt (Hybrid-Mode)" The only thing I can think of is the Quickbooks versions listed in that same screen only go through 2009...we have a 2010 version of QB - could that be the error? If so, don't know why it would be having this problem now and not before??

The version stamp in the settings is not the issue.

Could you provide us with an example of the invoice and how it populates the shipping form? Screenshots are fine, and you can email those to support at shiprush dot com. There might be something with how the data is entered into QuickBooks that is causing this behavior.

    Thank you,

I think I've figured out what's happening...I am shipping samples to various branches of the same company. In lieu of entering each one as a ship to address and then choosing it in the sales order/invoice I am entering it directly on the sales order - shiprush is not picking it up correctly. I have used this method for years and it's worked fine - don't know why it's not working now.

Without a screenshot of what the data looks like in QuickBooks, I cannot give you a clear answer.
