Thread: Transfer to New Computer

  1. #1
Hi - I will be getting a new computer in the next week and want to know the best/easiest way to load the program (shiprush for Fed Ex and UPS) onto the new system, along with all of my current settings so that I don't have to redo everything (I will be using Windows Easy Transfer to load the data). Could you kindly spell it out step by step for the computerly inept? Thanks in advance!

Please refer to the helpfile on using the ShipRush DB Manager to do a Save System State, and a Restore System State. That is the only way it can be properly moved to the new machine.

If you're going to do a clean install, you will need:
    - Install files for ShipRush (the installer for each carrier is using multiple)
    - Account info for the carrier(s) you are using
    - Your printers installed

Do I download the programs (Fed Ex and UPS) from your website to the new computer and use my current license number then enter my account numbers, etc.?

    Yes, that would be correct.
