Thread: FRUSTRATED! Return shipment keeps giving email error

    Hi there,
    I am fairly new to SR, been using it for about 4 months now. I am desperately trying to create a return for a shipment I sent out to a customer a couple of weeks ago. I have gone through the steps like the help file says to, created the new shipment, clicked the swap button and it shows everything is correct. When I click on ship, I get the following error....
    FedEx server returned: "Invalid return shipper e-mail ID". [ship:8518]
    I am trying to do an email return label. PLEASE HELP!!! This is driving me NUTS!!!!

    Do you have more than one email address in the email field? FedEx only allows for a single email address to be populated for Email Return Labels.

    Hi there,
    Yes, that seems like it would be the problem. But for some reason I cannot get the email field to keep just the return customer's email. I even went in and unchecked all of the boxes for cloning me on the notifications, but it still adds my email after the customer's. How can I fix this????

    After you switch to Email Return Label, set the params of the shipment etc. Now you should be able to go into the Email Field and delete the ;youremail@domain.com from the field and process the shipment.

    Sorry, I must be missing something very simple....but no matter how many times or ways I delete the ;youremail@youremail.com from that field, as soon as I hit the ship button it sticks my email right back in there and gives me the error.
    GRRRRRRR.......

    With the shipping form open, click the little ShipRush icon upper left and go to About. What is the version\build you're using?

    Ahhh yes. The issue existed in that build, where you couldn't delete the additional emails in the field.

    Resolution:
    Update your ShipRush to the current v9.6 from the website:
    http://www.shiprush.com/downloads/updates.shtml

    After updating, you'll be able to delete the additional email address and process the Email Calltag.
