Thread: Ground changed to Home Delivery

    We ship to mostly business addresses that are repeat customers. I have a couple of addresses that we set the shipment to ship via FedEx "Ground" but when the label prints ShipRush has changed it to "Home Delivery". Is this data from FedEx that is causing this? Is there a way around it? I know for certain that these businesses are in retail centers.

    It is 100% based on the data in the FedEx Servers that we are talking to for Address Validation. FedEx says they are residential and are Home Delivery.

    If you wish to turn that function off, please do the following:

    Update ShipRush to the most current:
    http://www.shiprush.com/downloads/updates.shtml

    Now go into Settings | Shipping Settings | Address Validation
    Make sure Set Residential Flag is unchecked

    Now, address validation will still occur, but it will not change a Ground shipment to Home Delivery.
