Thread: AES ITN Number for international shipments

  1. #1
This AES ITN number entered in the export documents does not appear to print anywhere on the commercial invoice so our shipments get held up at fedex. Is there a setting I am missing?

    Thanks,
    Greg

Are you entering this interactively, on SR GUI or via SDK ?

If via sdk, if you enter it interactively on SR UI, does it print?

enter via GUI. We use a program called iq reseller that does pull some information into the export documents but we enter the ITN number manually.

I'm reviewing the commercial invoice available from FedEx.com as a reference to this question:
    http://images.fedex.com/us/services/...ialInvoice.pdf

I do not see a field for the AES\ITN # on their own form. We do print the AES on the label, and depending on the shipment type, the secondary label that is to be placed in the pouch with the rest of the INTL paperwork.

I agree. The AES/ITN is sent to FedEx with the shipment information, and prints on the label as you show.

gregigsmn, can you reprint the label (from ShipRush View Shipments) of a problem shipment, (that you are sure had an AES/ITN # entered) and see if it printed on the label?

If it is there, and the shipment was held, more digging needs to be done to work out why it was held.

My apologies, it was a UPS shipment. I did reprint another fedex shipment and the ITN was there. A reprint of this UPS shipment does not have an ITN.

ITN should be here on a UPS label (see screen shot).

OK, let me restate this for UPS...

the third line on our UPS label is purchase no. Then there is a reference 1 and reference 2 below that. We are still on v7.5. I am thinking that comes out of the inventory program we use so probably need to contact them. I checked a couple that we used an ITN number on the both were the same. Thanks for the help. I do appreciate it.

Ohhhh, if you are on 7.5 we do not know all the details. We are up to speed on the current release and one prior (which means 9.0 and up).
