Thread: "Reference 1" field populating with incorrect information from QuickBooks

    About 25% of the time, ShipRush for Stamps pulls the ship-to company name or customer name from QuickBooks and enters that into the Reference 1 box, instead of the PO number. ShipRush settings have "Use Alt 5 Marked Field as Reference" checked, and most of the time it correctly pulls the PO number and enters it in the Reference 1 field - but not always. As a test today, I just opened ShipRush to create a label for an invoice and ShipRush incorrectly put the Company name on the reference line. I closed ShipRush and tried again, and on the 2nd try, it correctly put in the PO number. Intermittent.

    Where is the focus on the invoice when you click on ShipRush to bring up a shipping form?

    Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by "focus". When "clicking" on the ShipRush icon to create the label, the mouse (if that's what you mean by focus) is on the ShipRush icon.

    By focus I mean, what's the last field clicked into in the invoice itself (cursor) when you click the ShipRush icon to bring up the shipping form? Is it in a line item, Ship To field, somewhere else?

    Can't say it's consistent every time, but more than likely it's either a line item in the body of the Invoice, for instance, the amount paid, or selecting a "Thank You" message from a drop down list.

    In Settings | Program Settings | CM Settings, is it set to QB Customer List or Hybrid? I would suggest trying with Hybrid if not set on that currently.

    It is set to Hybrid. Is there anything else to try?

    Keep an eye on it and let us know if you see a pattern: a particular field has focus, company name is "odd" in some way, etc so we can replicate the issue here.
