Thread: UPS EOD error

    User getting error while doing EOD for UPS. from shiprushserver.log:

    One or more errors performing End-Of-Day. See "shiprushserver.log" file for details.

    This error would indicate a firewall issue or a general connectivity issue for the internet from the ShipRush server PC.

    You could try and reboot the server PC for ShipRush and try the EOD again.

    Thanks for the fast reply. The PC has been rebooted but still getting same error. I just bumped the zfirm service also. Also: How do I try to resend a PLD that was rejected? I've 'flipped' it, via the Activity page, and selected 'Upload all pending' but nothing seems to happen.

    It failed, so it will try again. You do not need to do anything else in the software, just do an EOD.

    I would check for a firewall in the environment.

    I got the PLD to send. Not sure how but the server log confirms.

    OK, could have been a transient inet issue with the provider. As long as it states PLD File Uploaded, that's what we want to see in the logs.

    For the record: I was connected to the PC via GoToAssist and they had full internet access the whole time. The PLD in question had a pkg with a $10,000.00 DV. After turning off the Windows Firewall and disabling their anti-virus I 'flipped' the PLD again vi athe Activity tab in 'View Shipment'. After that I was able to send the PLD via the close day process. The I turned on the firewall and anti-virus, shipped and voided a UPS pkg and did the EOD without issue. checked server log to confirm that PLD was sent. Still not sure why they had issues in the first place. But thanks for your help.
