Thread: Endicia vs. ShipRush USPS Accounts

  1. #1
We are starting to migrate over from our Endicia account in SR to the ShipRush USPS account. We are finding that we are losing options...

    1. SR version does not "Small Intl Items" - Endicia account allows for this option for FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL. This makes for a huge time saver and gives a professional look. Otherwise we have to print onto a full page of copy paper and cut out. (Not a good look or time saver.)

    2. We process many return labels and we create them direct in ShipRush dashboard. We have Endicia as our default account and can go in, enter street address and zip code, hit ADDRESS CHECK and it would fill in the city and state. (Big time saver) We flipped over to SR as our default and starting doing this but ran into the limitation that it wouldn't fill in the city and state.

    3. Lack of a SAVE BUTTON....why is this button such a negative on this program? Some areas we can't even figure out how to add something like a new address in address box.

    4. Missing PRINT ON USE labels....this feature certainly is handy and has a huge cost savings for us. We find that only about 60% of our customers use the return label when requested.

    5. Delivery Dates.... For some reason the SR estimates on delivery date is a few days longer than the Endicia estimate for delivery. Not sure why but it does cause our shipping dept. to select Endicia over SR.

Hoping some of these fixes are in the pipeline or something we are doing wrong and can fix.

    Thanks!

Thank you for the detailed post!

We will respond to more on Monday. For some quick responses:

#5) Delivery Dates: The actual delivery times are all the same. The representation you refer to varies, but does not affect how long a given shipment will take.

#4) Pay on Use Returns: This is coming very soon. Perhaps even within a week or so. ZF Case 63020

#3) Lack of Save button: It is auto saved. You created the address, and as you enter data it is saved auto magically.

The main CS team should be able to address the other q's on Monday.

    Thank you for using ShipRush!

#2) ShipRush currently does not have a database of addresses to auto populate the city\state based on the zip. That may happen in the future. Do note that you can copy\paste the entire address into ShipRush.

#1) Can you expand on the issue? Configure Printer INTL to your thermal printer. We will print INTL First Class to that thermal printer

    2. We are not working in a copy and paste environment. We are taking the information from the customer by phone and then entering it direct into SR dashboard. Some of our reps are used to only writing down the zip code so we then have to flip over to our Endicia account to complete the return label.

    1. First Class INTL fits on a standard 4x6 thermal label which Endicia is aware of and is allowing this to print to. ShipRush software is not giving this flexibility so it forces us to print to an 8.5x11 and then cut it out. (Unprofessional and time waste)
How can you separate First Class INTL from Priority INTL? FC needs to point to thermal and Priority needs to point to laser.

#2) OK. I do not have a solve at this moment for this situation. City\State will be required

#1) Configure Printer INTL to your thermal printer. Configure Printer Documents to your paper printer. If we cannot print it to the thermal printer, we will send it to your paper printer configured under Printer Documents

    1. Works as stated...thanks!

    2. Does SR plan on having a database or use the USPS database to fill in the city and state at any time in the future?

We have Case 53301 open to add that as a feature. I've added this thread to that case so you will be alerted when that happens.
