Thread: malfunction

    The FedEx servers have malfunctioned. Please email this full error text, with your FedEx account number and meter number (if available) to tech support. Thank you!

    (FedEx server returned: "Authentication Failed". [prof:1000])

    trying to close for end of day

    You only get the error trying to close the day? You can try to delete the account from settings and add your FedEx account back in and then see if the Close Day works. The Close Day isn't necessary for FedEx to get your shipment information, it just prints out paperwork if your Ground driver requires something to sign.

    I have 2 active accounts. I tried closing each one individually and it failed on both. Don't like deleting account and losing all my settings

    I do not have another suggestion readily available as the error is coming back from the FedEx servers. You could try to delete just one account (screenshot any account specific settings needed, the rest of the settings will still be there) and add the account back and try to Close Day again.

    deleted each account and reactivated them - seems to be OK now
