Thread: Magento 2 Setup

  1. #1
I have installed a new store today that uses magento 2 and cannot for the life of me get this thing to connect. Uploaded the files manually to root and when i continue with the setup i get:

?The URL provided does not seem to connect to an ecommerce system (or perhaps the Web Store is not configured properly). Please check the URL and configuration for this web store. (ERROR: 33836B)
The url is correct. Back in the day you had to log into magento and create users to allow the access. Is that no longer the case? I do not see any such mention any more in the setup file.

    Regards
    Shane

We no longer need to create users to access a Magento site. It would appear the php files are not uploaded. I try to hit the php file, and I get a whoops our bad on your site: https://yourdomain/ShippingZMagento.php

If we cannot hit the file in a browser, the webstore will fail in ShipRush as well.

Thank you for the update. It's usually something like that.
