Thread: Auto EOD only prints for 1 of 2 UPS accounts

  1. #1
We run two servers that have two UPS accounts (303 and 525 for discussion). Auto eod is set for both servers. Server1 runs EOD at 5:06pm and Server2 runs at 5:22pm. Only one account (303) prints an EOD label each day on each server. There is no EOD label printed for 525 on either server. One server has 525 as default and the other has 303 as default. Bother servers have 303 enabled for real time transactions which is not used. I cannot see any other place where a preference for one account over the other.

How do I get auto EOD to work for both accounts on either one or both of the servers?

update: when the EOD is done manually both UPS accounts print.

Can you clarify the setup a bit more?

You have two servers....each with their own database and UPS account?

Are you doing this via an SDK call? If so, have you moved a copy of the ShipRushClientSettings_UPS.ini file into the program files\z-firm llc\shiprush vX folder on the server which doesn't print?

Yes - two servers with identical setup v12. They each have 2 ups accounts and one easypost account.

"Are you doing this via an SDK call? " no - if you mean EOD - EOD is being done with auto EOD setting

yes - current copies of the UPS ini file have been copied

We will run a couple tests on this scenario. Case 69217. We will update when more information is available.

Had a discussion with discussion with development on this. This is an old behavior, and they will engage to see about fixing, but will be a low priority currently.

Alternate option is to use the WebCloseShippingDay SOAP method to initiate the “end-of-day” process for all accounts and all carriers, if you are doing this via SOAP.

    Thank you,
