Thread: USPS First class option

  1. #1
    When I submit a USPS rate request via API I am not getting any USPS First class options. Just Priority rates. Is there something I need to pass extra? Is there a setting?

    Please advise and thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

    Example of your request? Are you submitting something that is over a lb?

    Thank you,

    Well I dont think it realizes it is an ounce. I am passing the value in PackageActualWeight... When I use your demp page at https://my.shiprush.com/static.shipr...uest-demo.html it is putting my value in the weight column not ounces. Do I pass ounces different?

    I am passing the ounces like... But like I said I think this is the issue. They are being read as a weight.
    <IsTest>1</IsTest>
    <Carrier>3</Carrier>
    <UPSServiceType>U02</UPSServiceType>
    <Package>
    <PackageActualWeight>1</PackageActualWeight>
    <PackagingType>02</PackagingType>
    </Package>

    You would pass ounces as a decimal

    So, 8oz would look like
    <PackageActualWeight>0.5</PackageActualWeight>

    I see you're sending:
    <PkgHeight>50</PkgHeight>

    According to the docs I can find for First Class, the limits are 22" x 18" x 15"

    that dimension will only return priority\express options
