Thread: ShipRush shipping method are not selected automatically

    Hi all this is pwu0083


    We are using ShipRush v12.1.11.2439 and we are having issue on the UPS Next Day Air Early AM shipment.
    The ShipRush keeps using the ?UPS Ground? instead of the ?Next Day Air Early AM? as below:
    We are expecting the program picking up the correct shipping method 'UPS Next Day Air? Early'.

    The ShipRush is using a query to collect the shipping information from our Navision database.
    Tried several value change on the table but with no luck.

    Currently the ShipRush can pickup any shipping method except the ?Next Day Air Early AM?, the ShipRush uses the "UPS Ground" instead.
    This create some error when we do shipment in the warehouse.

    Can someone please help us debugging and fixing the issue?
    How the ShipRush program read the value from the table and select the correct shipping method?

    What values are you using? Are you using numeric values to represent the Service Type? If so, Next Day Air Early AM is <UPSServiceType>14</UPSServiceType>

    Otherwise, we will need more information to understand now your Navision is setup.

    Hi Support this is pwu0083,

    After looking at the table we are using the number 14 as the "UPS Next Day Air Early A.M." as shown in the below table.

    I tried changing the number to other indexing number (Changing it to 2) but the ShipRush is still selecting the "UPS Ground" in the drop down menu.
    I am expecting it to change to "UPS Next Day Air" but it is not as expected.


    I checked the ShipRush there is SQL query when selecting the shipping data. It is under ShipRush -> Setting -> Program setting -> CM Settings -> Getting Contact Info?

    I can provide the query but I just want to know how the ShipRush reading the data for "UPS Next Day Air Early A.M.". Is it reading 14 or is it reading the "UPS Next Day Air Early A.M." string. There is a special @ character after the "Air".

    Looking at the docs....for SQL

    It's looking for this element: Service

    The value should be spelled out, according to this page in the helpfile:

    Hi Support this is Ping from IDEC,

    I just have one package with "UPS Next Day Air Early A.M." but the ShipRush still picking the "UPS Ground" when reading the record.
    Last time I modify the value in the [Shipping Service] column: From "UPS Next Day Air@ Early A.M." to "UPS Next Day Air Early A.M.". The @ is removed but the ShipRush is still failing picking the correct shipping method.
    I need help in this case.


    Please let me know.

    Found the root of the issue. The service is incorrectly indicated in the helpfile. Please use "UPS Next Day Air Early" as the service name, and it should work.
