Thread: Problem with the postback.

  1. #1
Hi, Everyone. I`m new on ShipRush and working on integration. I have some question regards to Postback.

We are running custom build WMS system and we integrate it with ShipRush. I've created Custom Post in and success to post shipment information into ShipRush with XML format, but Postback data doesn`t get into the Postback Url at all when I print the label.

I've created post bin and try to check how does the postback act, but it doesn`t work either. Do I need to add a flag or anything like that?

Looks like followings are component related that.

    <postbackurl>https://postb.in/1563997177538-8011485841125</postbackurl>
    <postbackcontenttype>Unknown</postbackcontenttype>

    Thank you in advance.

Is https://postb.in/1563997177538-8011485841125 the actual URL you're trying to use, or is that an example?

Looking at our logging, we cannot get to the URL you provided for your testing. Error in the logging:
ERROR on POST https://postb.in/1563997177538-8011485841125, The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found., RESPONSE: 404 - Not Found

You may want to verify the proper URL for your postback that you've setup, and use that as the postback URL in the postin

Hi, Thank you for the answer.

That one is temporary bin and it goes away after few hours.

When does the postback initiate? Does it send data when I print the label? or do I need to do end of the day?

Right after you print the label. In my testing here...it should show up in the postback URL location in a matter of a minute or two.

    Okay. I`ll test it soon.

But in my case, does it happened because I've set unknown as postbackcontenttype?

Looking at our examples, you shouldn't need this element: <postbackcontenttype></postbackcontenttype>

I would omit it from your XML and check the results.
