Thread: Adding Broker Information in source

  1. #1
    Hi, dear

    In shiprush, when create a international shipment, you can select broker information in Export Document page.

    How can add this broker information in source?
    ZFInternational structure has only Importer/Exporter info.

    And what is BrokerCode?
    Would you explain the means?

    Are you talking about using the SDK for desktop, or Web?

    Thank you,

    We are using the SDK for desktop.
    How can we set these values with the SDK, can you provide a code sample?

    You could save that shipment example as a ZPK (with the option to save template on the shipping form, click the small ShipRush icon and select that option)

    Then look for the BrokerAddress segment

    Looks like this:
    Code:
             <BrokerAddress>
                <AddressQualifier>BR</AddressQualifier>
                <Address>
                   <FirstName>Test</FirstName>
                   <LastName>Person</LastName>
                   <Company>ZZZZ CO</Company>
                   <Address1>123 Main St</Address1>
                   <City>Toronto</City>
                   <State>BC</State>
                   <PostalCode>9z9z9z</PostalCode>
                   <Country>CA</Country>
                   <Phone>8885551212</Phone>
                   <AddrValResult>00</AddrValResult>
                   <AddrValDate>12/30/1899</AddrValDate>
                </Address>
             </BrokerAddress>

    TShipment has BrokerAddress. but TShipment is for Web.
    I am using ZFShipment structure for desktop. ZFShipment is defined in Interop.ZRush_ShipRush.dll.
    TShipment is defined in ShipRush.SDK for Web.

    Are you using the ActiveX for desktop or SOAP? The above is from desktop, and is our XML.

    We are using the ActiveX for desktop. We can find .International.BrokerCode but not the address in ZFShipment interface.

    Development reviewed this:

    Currently, there is no way to provide Broker-related data via ActiveX. It will be reviewed to add that to the SDK in the future.

    BrokerCode was a UPS specific item that has since been removed as it wasn't used

    Thank you,
