Orders are getting duplicated with Custom Post-In integration. After posting a new order then try to update the same order they are getting duplicated instead of just updating the same order with the same ID. For example updating order status by setting OrderStatus to "shipped", "unshipped", "paid", "cancelled" does not do anything just creates a new order in ShipRush.

According to documentation it says you just need to post the order to shipRush again in order to update it as long as the order have the same External or Order ID. I am currently in sandbox.my.shiprush.com doing the testing.

Is there something i am missing here? whats the best way to update the orders and avoid duplicates in shipRush.

Please send examples of first post-in and update post-in to support at shiprush dot com and we will review the data you are sending to determine what the issue might be.

    Thank you,

Just reviewed...and let's verify that you are indeed sending OrderID with the "update" post-in. Looking at your example, you removed the OrderID element, and replaced with OrderStatus element.

Passing OrderID fixed the duplicate issue, but not the not the update to cancel the order. The order still remains in Ready to Ship category, even after setting IsCancelled to True. This is based of the documentation:

The Cancelled flag always comes from you by updating the order (there is no way to modify it in My.ShipRush) and is controlled via the Order.IsCancelled field.
To update an order in ShipRush, post in with: Order.IsCancelled == True
When the shipper refreshes the list of shipments, the shipment will move to the Cancelled folder.

Is this not the right way to cancel an order?

It looks like the correct method, and my testing did not modify the order status either. I've opened Case 75857 for development to investigate further.
