Thread: Can I disable the phone number validation?

    In SR for FedEx (and Endicia), can I disable the phone number validation? Some customers prefer not to give a phone number, or give a fake one if they do not want to be contacted. Right now, when we try to ship a package which has an invalid phone number it, it throws and error and we have to correct it manually.

    A valid phone # is a requirement enforced by FedEx. It does not appear to be required for Endicia (the field is not highlighted in red if empty). You can go into settings | shipping settings | shipment defaults and set your phone # as a default phone # for those times when the phone # is empty for a customer.

    If the phone # is poorly formatted, there isn't a way to not enforce that it be fixed.
